It was fun getting ready for open studios. I've turned the living room into a gallery. It's been a pleasure meeting and greeting visitors to my gallery/studio space and explaining my work.

This is a plein air paint out with the Northern Arizona Plein Air painters. This is my friend Jane painting in a beautiful field of sunflowers.

Plein air painting with Tanner

It's a special day when you can take your first grandson(his name is Tanner) painting for the first time. I had a wonderful time painting while he napped, then walking and enjoying the sunflowers with him.

Prelude to Open Studios, Flagstaff Arizona

Prelude to Open Studios is a reception held at Coconino Center for the Arts for the artists participating in the upcoming Open Studios.

My pastel is "Flat Creek, Wyoming". It  is a studio painting from some plein air work done outside of Jackson Hole Wyoming a few years back. I love the piece and have it hanging in my home.
